When a new year begins for some, for others it ends. Zidane and Luca, our two alternates respectively in Bachelor 3 RDPC Vente – Négociation and Bachelor 3 RUO Management – Gestion, are leaving us after one year with us. They share their last words and memories.
Boys, how did you feel before you left? 😊
Luca :
I feel I have accomplished something good, I learned a lot on the Strasbourg campus! It was a very enriching experience and I cannot hide that I am a little nostalgic for all the moments spent during this last year.
Zidane :
I came out of this stronger experience, it was a very formative year. There is also, as Luca mentions, a lot of nostalgia: I really enjoyed sharing my daily life with the Eucléa Business School Strasbourg team, I will miss the atmosphere of the offices! I will not forget the energy, I would even say the synergy, that we all immediately developed between us.
What did your experience bring you the most? 💯
Luca :
I would say sociability and group cohesion! This alternation completely upset the Luca of a year ago. Today I am increasingly able to open up and communicate with my colleagues and relatives. I really managed to mitigate this «stage fright» that prevented me from socializing with others. After a year at Eucléa Business School, I come out transformed, both professionally and personally.
Zidane :
The word that best translates what this alternation brought me is «confirmation». Before, I was missing something: I did not know exactly what I wanted and what would allow me to flourish. This alternation confirmed the fact that I finally chose the right path for my studies! Doing a year of work-study on the Strasbourg campus offered me many opportunities that I did not see before and above all, a very different vision of things.
Do you have a story to tell us? 💭
Luca :
I especially remember my personal evolution! I was very rigid at first when we were still in our old premises. I was a bit shy, but moving to a new setting – warmer, more welcoming and with a great team – helped me move on to a level of confidence. From that moment on, it was in the lunch break room that I spent my best moments surrounded by the whole team, who would have thought it!
Zidane :
I have many anecdotes in mind, but out of solidarity and respect for my colleagues, I will not say anything! (Laughs)
Any advice for your successor? 💪
Luca :
I advise Joris to communicate about his tasks/missions and not to stay in his corner. Fanny and Vinciane are very open and understanding: the best thing to do is not to be overwhelmed by doubt and unanswered questions. I am speaking from experience because I have made this mistake in the past. But we learn from our mistakes so dare to ask!
Zidane :
I advise Clara to simply stay focused and communicate with Nicolas, who is full of good advice and who especially has many years of experience. It’s very nice to work with him! Communicating with all the team members brings us a lot in everyday life. As Luca said, we must not remain confronted with unanswered questions: we must rely on others it is very important and that does not make it a weakness, far from it!
The habit you’ll miss the most? 🤗
Luca :
Me it’s really the fact of talking at noon with everyone, real moments of sharing! I really see this moment as a transition. We break for the morning and get motivated for the afternoon! Being on the «other side» of the classrooms with the administrative team of the school, it’s quite pleasant I must say! Obviously, little thought for Maryan, who I will miss! 🥰
Zidane :
The hazelnut coffee ☕ . No I’m kidding, it’s mostly to be able to discuss with the team, be all together and know how to release the pressure when we need it. But it’s true that I will miss Maryan’s laugh too!
What can we wish you for your future projects? 🙏
Luca :
That my next alternation passes as well as in Eucléa The missions I was given were really interesting and the atmosphere between us only made me more motivated. I have sincerely lived no day without the desire to come to work and that is not given to everyone!
Zidane :
Fortune, glory and power! No, a lot of success and fulfillment through the missions entrusted to us and that make us gain confidence in ourselves! Of course, also, get along with my future colleagues: conviviality at work is very important to me and I realized it this year. The director of Eucléa Business School Strasbourg, Laura Dubois, is very close to us and considers us as full employees. She even sometimes assumes the role of second mother! Vinciane she, is like a big sister on which we can rely so thank you girls! 💙
