For 10 days, our Ms RH 2 students from Metz and Strasbourg enjoyed a unique experience during the first Learning Expedition organized by Eucléa Business School in collaboration with Keyce Academy. Accompanied by associate directors Laura Dubois and Valérie Giorello, as well as educational consultant Sabri Souici, this trip was much more than just an educational adventure.
Rio de Janeiro, the “Marvelous City” 🌞
Rio de Janeiro, nicknamed the ‘Cidade Maravilhosa’ (Wonderful City), is a vibrant Brazilian metropolis renowned for its natural beauty, rich culture and infectious energy. Beyond its breathtaking scenery, Rio de Janeiro is a city where music, dance and joie de vivre permeate every street corner, creating a warm and festive atmosphere that Eucléa wants its alternates to discover.
As part of their Human Resources course, Euclea Business School offers them an unforgettable experience through this exceptional Learning Expedition to Rio de Janeiro. This immersion in the Brazilian business environment enabled them to apply their theoretical knowledge in a real-life context, and develop an in-depth understanding of the specific challenges of Human Resources in an international context. Through visits to local companies, conferences with industry experts and practical projects, they had the opportunity to immerse themselves in Brazilian business culture while broadening their HR skills.
Le point de départ : JO&JOE Rio de Janei
The group has made its home at JO&JOE Rio de Janeiro at the foot of Corcovado, offering not only comfortable accommodation but also an ideal starting point for in-depth exploration of the wonderful city of Rio de Janeiro.
A rewarding educational trip
This intense week was marked by a variety of activities. Between courses, lectures, company visits and cultural discoveries, the students enjoyed a rich and varied educational experience. The exceptional premises of 42 | RIO were the setting for stimulating courses, encouraging fruitful exchanges and in-depth learning.
Company visits and original conferences
A visit to Vibra, a leader in the Brazilian energy sector, offered a unique perspective on innovation and environmental commitment. The students also had the chance to take part in exclusive conferences, notably at IAG University, presenting their HR themes to a professional and academic audience.
Professional meetings and exchanges
Sharing moments with professionals such as L’Oréal’s HR Director, Justine Voïta, and other key players made the experience invaluable. Students were able to explore different management styles, ask interactive questions and get a behind-the-scenes look at some of the world’s leading companies.
Cultural discoveries
Beyond the academic walls, the students explored the city of Rio de Janeiro in all its facets. Between Buzios, Sugar Loaf, Corcovado, the Botanical Gardens, Copacabana and local markets, every day was a cultural adventure.
The Learning Expedition culminated in a full day at Angra dos Reis, offering total immersion in Brazil’s natural beauty.
This educational adventure will live long in the memory, offering our students a unique perspective on the specific challenges of Human Resources in an international context.
