The contrat de professionnalisation is a free training program paid for by your host company’s training funds, giving you the status of a paid employee.
It’s an employment contract between an employer and an employee. Its aim is to enable young people to follow a general, theoretical and practical training course, with a view to acquiring a professional qualification sanctioned by a diploma or professional title.
The school/company agreement provides an “intermediate” status that confers student status. The intern is paid during his or her long-term internship, and the host company pays the tuition fees.
