This course leads to the level 7 title of Operational Business Manager, a certification registered with the RNCP by order of May 19, 2021, delivered by Ascencia Business School for the Collège de Paris.
The Ms Management de la Gastronomie et de l’Œnologie (Management of Gastronomy and Oenology), the world’s first international program for sandwich courses or initial training, offers a unique specialization in the fields of gastronomy and oenology. Designed in collaboration with top professionals from the most prestigious Parisian fashion houses, this program combines management training with practical workshops. These workshops offer an immersive sensory experience of the wine and culinary professions, while preparing you for a successful career in these exciting fields.
The first year of the Ms Management de la Gastronomie et de l’Œnologie program immerses you in the world of gastronomy and oenology, while reinforcing the marketing foundations essential to their exploration. Theoretical courses, such as the history of gastronomy and oenology, economics and consumer behavior, are complemented by practical modules on tasting and website creation.
A first study trip to Champagne immerses you in the world-renowned French tradition.
In the second year, teaching becomes more concrete, with a focus on marketing and management applied to the luxury sector. The knowledge required for setting up a business is also covered, enabling students to design a professional project that will be formalized by a thesis defended before a jury of experts at the end of the year.
A second trip to Bordeaux includes a visit to the Cité du Vin and hands-on cooking and tasting workshops. The graduating class is also taking the WSET Level II exam, a benchmark Anglo-Saxon certification in the wine industry.
Pre-requisites Validated diploma or RNCP level 6 qualification (validated Bac+3) significant professional experience
If the candidate’s previous course of study differs from the chosen speciality, the candidate’s file will be submitted to the educational advisor for validation. A different orientation may be proposed.
The program is aimed at students who already have a strong taste for oenology and gastronomy, as well as a basic knowledge of these two highly rigorous fields. It has been designed in particular to meet the needs of start-ups and new projects, but will also be ideal for young people wishing to specialize and work in the sector’s major companies.
