Can you introduce yourself in one sentence?
My name is Jessica, I’m 35 years old, I’m a mother of two and I’m an educational coordinator on the Metz campus.
What would you like to tell us about your career?
My background is rather atypical because with my diplomas nothing predestined me for teaching, you could say I fell into it by chance 🍀
But today I know I belong.
What are the different tasks/responsibilities of a teaching assistant?
My missions today are very diverse. I’m in charge of planning courses, recruiting and supporting lecturers, providing individualized and personalized follow-up for our learners, and all the school’s pedagogical management (report cards, absences, lateness, assessments, test organization, etc.).
What personal qualities and professional skills do you need?
In terms of personal qualities, I’d say you need to be empathetic and a good listener, but you also need to be firm. As for professional qualities, I think you need to be organized and autonomous.
Any advice for someone interested in becoming a teaching assistant?
If you like helping people, human contact and have an interest in education and training, then this is the job for you 🫵
What do you think is Eucléa’s strength?
The strength of Euclea is the human scale of the school. I know all the first and last names of our students, for example, and I think that’s very rare in a school. The support we give our students in following up their schooling during and sometimes even after their studies with us 🤝

I love doing crafts with my kids 🥰
